Sustainability and quality go hand-in-hand. This is what we at Guldviva do to ensure that your jewellery is made to last.


Every piece of Guldviva jewellery is made by hand in our own workshop in the Maritime Quarter in Mariehamn on Åland. This guarantees high-quality, professional, solid craftsmanship.
All of our jewellery is produced from solid precious metals; it is never filled with other metals or hollow. Even the chains that come with our jewellery, but which we don’t produce ourselves, are of the highest quality, in either 925 sterling silver or 18K gold.


The only base materials we use are either nickel-free 925 sterling silver or 18K gold. We aspire to a completely sustainable production process and today we only use 100 per cent recycled metal.

Lifetime warranty

Your Guldviva jewellery is designed and made to last and to be handed down through the generations. This is why we have a lifetime warranty on all of our jewellery and repair all damages which arise from eventual mistakes in production. We will even be happy to repair damages which arise from wear-and-tear or accidents, but for the price of the normal cost of labour.


Silver and gold are metals which endure forever, but the jewellery you wear will often take on signs of frequent use. For this reason, we offer a free professional polishing of all Guldviva jewellery. For example, we can roll the jewellery in a drum with polishing beads, reapply the surface finish by hand and, if necessary, reapply antique treatments. Your jewellery will be like new again.

All prices are shown including VAT (24% for purchases made from Åland and Finland, 25% for purchases made from Sweden and all EU countries). Shipping and handling costs will be added to the total cost.

For orders made from any country outside of the EU the VAT will be deducted from the total price.

Any costs in connection with customs clearance must be paid by the customer.

Orders are shipped by post with recorded delivery. Orders are posted as soon as possible or, at the latest, within one week of Guldviva receiving order and payment confirmation.

In the case that delivery for some reason is delayed you will be immediately notified of such a delay. Alternative shipping methods are available by prior arrangement.

All Guldviva jewellery is covered by a lifetime guarantee. The guarantee is applicable to any faults caused in, or by, the production process. Deterioration caused by normal wear and tear is not covered by the lifetime guarantee.

The silver and gold chains, and any other chains (leather or any other material) which are sold together with Guldviva jewellery but which are not manufactured by Guldviva are not covered by the lifetime guarantee.

Professional polishing is included in the price of all Guldviva jewellery.  Meaning that you, free of charge, at any time in the future may return any Guldviva jewellery, inclusive of chain, to us for professional cleaning and polishing in the Guldviva workshop.  Any shipping fees for sending jewellery to the Guldviva workshop will be paid by you.  Fees for the return shipping of the jewellery to you by priority (1st class) mail will be paid by Guldviva.  If you request return shipping by recorded delivery, DHL or similar shipping alternatives Guldviva may request reimbursement for the shipping fee.

If you should change your mind and you wish to return your purchase and receive a refund you have the right to do so. You must communicate your wish to withdraw your purchase to us by sending an e-mail or letter stating so within 14 days of the date of delivery of your purchase. E-mails should be sent to info@guldviva.com and letters to any of the below mentioned adresses. Your purchase must be returned without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of your withdrawal communication to us.

A refund will be made providing that your purchase has not been used and is returned in its original packaging.

We will refund your purchase within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal communication.  We may, however, withhold the refund until we have received your purchase back. We will reimburse the purchase price paid for the returned items and, provided your order is returned in its entirety (i.e. all items belonging to the same purchase order), the shipping fee based on the least expensive type of delivery offered by us. We will refund your payment by bank transfer to a valid bank account to be provided by you or by another means of payment agreed upon.

If you believe that the product(s) you have received is in any way faulty we would be grateful if you contacted us to let us know.  Contact us as soon as possible after you have discovered any faults. If the faults are confirmed we will offer you a new or similar product, alternatively we will carry out any repairs that are needed to remedy the fault, at no cost to yourself.  In this case we will reimburse you for any shipping fees within 14 days from receiving the returned product.

For orders placed from Åland or Finland payment can be made by creditcard or e-banking with the following banks: Nordea, Andelsbanken, Sampo, Tapiola, Aktia, Nooa, Lokalandelsbankerna, Sparbankerna, Handelsbanken, S-Banken, Ålandsbanken.

For orders placed from Finland, Åland or any non-EU country, creditcard payments are made through the payment provider Paytrail Ltd.

For orders placed from Sweden or any other EU country, payment is made by creditcard through the payment provider DIBS payment solutions.

Orders delivered within Finland and Sweden may also be paid by COD (Cash on Delivery).

Payments can also be made, by prior arrangement, by direct bank transfer. The necessary information needed for the execution of a direct bank transfer will be communicated on demand.

When you have confirmed the order and continue to complete the payment by creditcard or e-banking you will be re-directed to the secure pages of the payment provider, Paytrail Ltd or DIBS Payment Solutions. The payment providers employed by Guldviva have secure systems for the processing of payment information, and adhere to current safety rules and regulations. No information whatsoever concerning creditcard numbers or e-banking information are asked for, processed, or stored within Guldviva’s systems.

Guldviva Ab produces and supplies all jewellery which is sold through www.guldviva.com. Sales to Åland, Finland and all non-EU countries are carried out by Guldviva Ab.
